The holistic model of medicine considers every aspect of one's life -diet, physical activity, environment, work, relationships, social factors, beliefs, attitudes, experiences, genetics, aspirations, etc. Issues are deconstructed and a plan is made to assist individuals in building a new foundation for health happiness and total wellbeing.

A Mind > Body example
One may have chronic low back pain from being overweight due to poor eating habits born of depression and/or anxiety.
Massage may provide temporary relief to help break the feedback cycle between pain and tension, allowing the body to heal itself, while increasing body-awareness that will assist in better posture, temporarily relieve depression & anxiety to help abate the stress-eating, and help any related unconscious content rise to the surface so they can be addressed by counseling.
Pilates will strengthen the core to counter the strain of the weight pulling forward on the lumbar.
Yoga will help increase the elastic threshold of the muscles and connective tissues to prevent spasms.
H.I.T. exercise will help burn excess fat away while increasing lean muscle mass which increases metabolism.
Strategic Nutrition will change body/brain chemistry to improve mood and diminish unhealthy cravings, assisting in trimming down.
Counseling will help address the emotional roots of the stress-eating, and Life Coaching will help the individual stay motivated and on track.
Together, these solutions will lead to a truly healthy and happy person who will get the most out of life.
A Body > Mind example
One may be depressed simply from lack of nutrients and poor eating habits. This requires a much simpler approach: improving nutrition and eating habits. No need for counseling to mine non-existing emotional issues here. The issue may be as simple as needing to eat earlier in the evening to get better sleep to alleviate chronic fatigue that's been causing depression.
One condition, many possible causes and solutions
People can develop a complex web of interconnected, mutually reinforcing health problems caused by:
* physical neglect, trauma and/or abuse
* emotional neglect, trauma and/or abuse
* excessive environmental toxins
* subtle and/or acute food sensitivities and/or allergies
* lack of specific nutrients
* imbalanced gut flora
* persistent patterns of negative thoughts and feelings
Almost always I find multiple factors challenging one's health and wellbeing. Consequently, multiple solutions are usually necessary to get results. My goal is to help people save precious time (and money) by ensuring all necessary means are employed so they can stop suffering and start enjoying the greatest quality of life available to them as soon as possible to get the most life out of their years.
